The guest lecture on Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) by Mr. T. Kiruba Shankar, held on 28th August 2024, was a highly informative and enriching experience for the third-year Diploma in EEE students. The session provided valuable insights into the integration of IoT in industrial systems, helping students understand the transformative potential of IIoT in the modern world. The Department of EEE extends its gratitude to INGAGE TECH and Mr. Shankar for delivering such a thought-provoking lecture.

The guest lecture on “Recent Technology of Electrical Machines with IoT Applications,” held on 23rd August 2024, concluded by emphasizing the transformative impact of IoT on the efficiency, reliability, and longevity of electrical machines. By integrating IoT, industries can achieve real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, and optimized performance, leading to reduced operational costs and enhanced productivity. The session highlighted the future potential of IoT in revolutionizing the operation and management of electrical systems.

On 2nd August 2024, the Department of Automobile Engineering organized a guest lecture on “Safety Innovations in Two & Three Wheelers” for the Two Wheeler and Three Wheeler Technology course. Held at 3:30 PM in the college auditorium, the session was conducted by Mr. Vignesh, B.E., Instructor at Moorthy Driving School, Gobi. The lecture covered the latest safety technologies for two- and three-wheelers, including active and passive safety systems, regulatory standards, and emerging trends such as connected vehicle systems.

On 12th August 2024, MR. M. PRABAKARAN, M.Tech, M.B.A., from Erode, conducted a guest lecture for the 2nd year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering students at the SVHPC Auditorium. The lecture focused on energy-based manufacturing, emphasizing the importance of optimizing energy consumption in various stages of the manufacturing process. Mr. Prabakaran discussed the use of energy-efficient machinery,

On 12.08.2024, the III-year EEE students participated in a guest lecture on “Microcontroller and Its IoT Applications” at room 201, SVHPC. Mr. K. Abishek, a PCB design trainer from VI Microsystems, led the session, providing students with practical knowledge on integrating microcontrollers with IoT technologies, enhancing their understanding of modern applications in the field. The lecture was attended by 44 students who actively participated throughout the session.

On 12th August 2024, the ECE department of SVHPC organized a guest lecture titled “Microcontroller and Its IoT Applications” for third-year Diploma students. Mr. K. Abishek, a PCB design trainer from VI Micro Systems, led the session, offering insights beyond the standard syllabus. Students found the lecture highly beneficial, particularly appreciating the practical examples and real-world applications of microcontrollers in IoT.

Mr. K. Saravanan, Proprietor of KS Info Tech Solution, conducted a guest lecture on 08.08.2024, for the Third year EEE students at SVHPC. The session provided valuable insights into the challenges and benefits of integrating renewable energy sources into the power grid. The lecture enhanced students’ understanding of sustainable energy solutions.

On August 8, 2024, for the third – year diploma in Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a guest lecture on the topic “DTH System,” delivered by Mr. K. Saravanan, Proprietor of KS Info Tech Solution. The session was held in the Auditorium and commenced at 1:30 PM. The lecture was met with enthusiastic responses from the students, who found it highly beneficial for their academic development.

On August 7, 2024, our third-year students visited a construction site in Chengapalli, where a 2BHK, two-story residential building project is underway. The visit revealed that the project is progressing well, with the foundation and superstructure complete, and interior and exterior work advancing on schedule. This site visit, under the title “Precast and Cast in-situ Concrete,” filled a curriculum gap in Concrete Technology.
