INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO MOBITECH WIRELESS SOLUTION
The Department of Computer Engineering at SVHPC organized an industrial visit to Mobitech Wireless Solution, Perunthurai, on 27th February 2025 for II-year and III-year students as part of the Computer Networks and Security subject.
Students gained practical exposure to wireless communication, network infrastructure, and security protocols, bridging the gap between theory and industry applications.

POWER ELECTRONICS IN EV TECHNOLOGY
A guest lecture on Power Electronics in EV Technology was conducted on 27-02-2025 at 09:30 AM in Room No. 201, SVHPC. The session was presented by Mr. Naveen Kumar from TANSAM and was organized for third-year Diploma in EEE students to enhance their understanding of power electronics applications in electric vehicles.

ENERGY EFFICIENT LIGHTING
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Shree Venkateshwara Hi-Tech Polytechnic College organized a guest lecture on Energy Efficient Lighting on 21st February 2025 at 10:00 AM in Room No. 201. The session was delivered by Mr. J.Arun Prasath, an esteemed R&D team member from Premier Evolvics Pvt Ltd.

FOUNDATION CONSTRUCTION
The industrial visit provided invaluable insights into the practical aspects of foundation construction. The techniques, materials, and safety procedures observed reinforced the theoretical concepts learned in the classroom. By understanding the complexities involved in the construction of foundations, we were able to appreciate the importance of proper planning, soil analysis, and quality control in ensuring the safety and longevity of structures.

3D PRINTING TECHNOLOGY
The seminar on 3D Printing Technology was organized on 20th February 2025 at the SVHPC Auditorium from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The session was conducted by Mr. T. LOKESH, B.E., An expert in the field of Additive Manufacturing and Rapid Prototyping. The seminar aimed to provide insights into the advancements, applications, and future scope of 3D Printing Technology in various industries.

ADVANCEMENTS IN 3D PRINTING TECHNOLOGY
The guest lecture provided a comprehensive overview of soil layers and their importance in both natural and agricultural ecosystems. Understanding the dynamics of soil formation, structure, and function is vital for addressing environmental challenges, including soil degradation, climate change, and sustainable agriculture. The knowledge shared during the lecture underscored the need for ongoing research and conservation efforts to protect this vital natural resource.

SUBNETTING AND SUPERNETTING IN COMPUTER NETWORKS
A guest lecture on “Sub netting and Supernetting in Computer Networks” was organized for the second-year Diploma in ECE students on February 4, 2025. The session was delivered by Ms. M. Kavya, HR Supervisor at PVR HR Solutions and an esteemed alumna of SVHPC (Batch 2020-2023). The objective of the lecture was to provide students with advanced knowledge of subnetting and supernetting, which are crucial concepts in computer networking and data communication.

IMPACT OF EV ADAPTION ON POWER GRIDS AND ENERGY CONSERVATION
A guest lecture was organized by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) for the third-year Diploma students to provide insights into the impact of electric vehicle (EV) adoption on power grids and its relevance to energy conservation. The session, conducted by Mr. T. Kiruba Shankar, a skilled trainer from CIEL Skills and Careers, aimed to deliver knowledge beyond the syllabus of the 4030630 – Energy Conservation and Audit course.
