ENERGY-BASED MANUFACTURING

On 12th August 2024, MR. M. PRABAKARAN, M.Tech, M.B.A., from Erode, conducted a guest lecture for the 2nd year Diploma in Mechanical Engineering students at the SVHPC Auditorium. The lecture focused on energy-based manufacturing, emphasizing the importance of optimizing energy consumption in various stages of the manufacturing process. Mr. Prabakaran discussed the use of energy-efficient machinery, reducing energy waste, and integrating renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, and bioenergy into production processes. Students appreciated the insights provided, which highlighted the potential for minimizing energy costs while maintaining or enhancing production quality and output.
