MILLMAN’S THEOREM ON THREE PHASE STAR CONNECTED LOADS
On 05.08.2024, the Second year EEE students attended a guest lecture on “Millman’s Theorem on Three-Phase Star Connected Loads” at room 202, SVHPC. The session was led by Mr. K. Abishek, a PCB design trainer from VI Microsystems, who provided in-depth insights into the practical applications of Millman’s Theorem, enriching the students’ understanding of electrical circuit analysis.
SAFETY INNOVATIONS IN TWO & THREE WHEELERS
On 2nd August 2024, the Department of Automobile Engineering organized a guest lecture on “Safety Innovations in Two & Three Wheelers” for the Two Wheeler and Three Wheeler Technology course. Held at 3:30 PM in the college auditorium, the session was conducted by Mr. Vignesh, B.E., Instructor at Moorthy Driving School, Gobi. The lecture covered the latest safety technologies for two- and three-wheelers, including active and passive safety systems, regulatory standards, and emerging trends such as connected vehicle systems.
INTEGRATION OF IOT IN ENGINE RETROFITTING
On August 7, 2024, our third-year students visited a construction site in Chengapalli, where a 2BHK, two-story residential building project is underway. The visit revealed that the project is progressing well, with the foundation and superstructure complete, and interior and exterior work advancing on schedule. This site visit, under the title “Precast and Cast in-situ Concrete,” filled a curriculum gap in Concrete Technology.
PANDAS PACKAGE IN PYTHON
On August 1, 2024, a highly informative guest lecture on the ‘Pandas Package in Python’ was conducted at SVHPC. The lecture was part of the curriculum enrichment activities for the third-year Diploma in Computer Engineering (CSE) students. Held in the Auditorium, the session was delivered by Mr. A. Josephpaulraj, an experienced trainer from Ingage Technologies Pvt. Ltd. The lecture was attended by 57 students who actively participated throughout the session.
REAL-TIME APIS AND WEB SOCKETS
On the 31st of July, 2024, a guest lecture on ‘Real-time APIs and WebSockets’ was held at the Auditorium, SVHPC. The lecture was presented by Mr. Balavigneshwar Eswaran, a seasoned Developer and Trainer at Ingage Technologies PVT.LTD., This session was organized for the third-year diploma students in the CSE department and focused on advanced topics beyond the standard syllabus for the Component Based Technology (N Scheme) course.
SPECIAL COUNTERS IN DIGITAL ELECTRONICS
The guest lecture by Mr. N. Santhosh, a distinguished member of VI Microsystems, on July 29, 2024, was a valuable addition to the academic activities of the Third year Computer Engineering (CSE) students. Held in the SVHPC Auditorium, the session focused on special counters in digital electronics, offering students a deeper understanding of this critical topic.
FILTERS IN ELECTRONICS
Mr. N.Santhosh, a distinguished member of VI Microsystems, conducted a guest lecture on July29, 2024, for the second-year Diploma in ECE students at SVHPC. The lecture aimed to supplement the course content for ‘Electronic devices and circuits’ and provided insights beyond the prescribed syllabus. The lecture was met with enthusiastic responses from the students, who found it highly beneficial for their academic development.
